We Salute Bethel Police Officers During National Police Week (and Always)

This week is National Police Week (November 10-16) and we want to take this opportunity to thank the Bethel Police Department for protecting and serving the residents of our close-knit town!

During this time of social isolation, miss seeing our officers in schools and at Town events! Community policing is what our officers love (and do so well)!

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week. Currently, tens of thousands of law enforcement officers from around the world converge on Washington, DC to participate in a number of planned events which honor those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
