It is often said that a picture is worth a thousand words. To adequately capture your leadership and service, one would require far more.
For 23 years your administration held strength, experience, knowledge, reformation, and above all respect. Respect not only for the Bethel Police Department and its officers, but also for the community that was privileged with the opportunity to call you Chief.
As we congratulate you on your retirement, may we honor your service by living up to your example. Thank you for all you have taught us, guided us through, and fought for in the name of improving who we are.
To you Chief Finch, on your last day of service, we salute you.
