Stony Hill and Bethel Firefighters Dispatched to MVA Rollove, Free Occupant with HURST Jaws of Lifer

Last night at approximately 6:15pm Stony Hill and Bethel firefighters were dispatched to an MVA rollover with reported entrapment on the southern end of Old Hawleyville Road.
 
Units located 2 cars that crashed head-on with one of the vehicles on its driver's side with the occupant still inside. Members stabilized the vehicle and cut the roof with our HURST Jaws of Life, freeing the driver in approximately 10 minutes.
 
Two parties were transported to Danbury Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The accident is under investigation by the Bethel Police Department.
