Bethel Fire Department celebrates accomplishments and milestones of 2022

On Saturday evening, members of the Bethel Fire Department, their families, and esteemed guests from local and neighboring agencies celebrated the accomplishments and milestones of 2022.

An annual tradition to join together as a family of volunteer first responders, dinner and dessert was accompanied by recognizing some of the department's top responders.

In 2022, the members of the Bethel Fire Department responded to 460 emergency fire calls, and provided 12,367 volunteer man-hours staffing the two ambulances.

Congratulations to all of the members who received top honors. We are grateful for all of our members who give of themselves day in and day out for training, staffing, and response. Here's to a safe and successful 2023!

Pictured with award recipients are Chief Chris McCollam, President Ryan McNair, EMS Captain Jess Schaad, and Fire Captain Matthew Troy.
