“I’m greatly honored to place in the Stevie Awards for Women in Business and to compete with women from all over the country and world. It felt great knowing the judges saw value in my work and achievements over the last 12 months”, Hannah Perry, Owner of The Giggling Pig Art & Party Studio.
Perry decided to open her first art studio in Shelton in 2011; The Giggling Pig Art & Party Studio was born. The name was adapted from her second book and serves as inspiration for her magical art studio. The Shelton and Bethel locations offer parent and child events, mommy & me classes, children’s classes, birthday parties (winner of the Playground Parkbench 2015 best birthday party venue), “paint, sip and giggle” for adults, private parties (in studio or off-site) plus a gift shop with apparel, cards and books designed by Perry.
Through The Giggling Pig, Perry launched school-based art-enrichment programs with Giggles On The Go (a mobile van), across 12 Fairfield County schools, spreading compassion and kindness. She also created a distinctive, compassionate program, Special Hands, dedicated to children/adults with special needs, helping them develop necessary skills.
In addition, The Giggling Pig brings art-based outreach programs to assisted living homes, hospitals and libraries. The Giggling Pig brings a smile to everyone.
