The New York State Police report that the Interstate 84 westbound lanes will be closed at mile post marker 55.2, between Exit 58 - Ludingtonville Road and Exit 52 - theTaconic State Parkway, due to a rolled-over tractor trailer accident.
A detour has been established at the Stormville Rest area and traffic is moving slowly. Expect heavy delays or avoid the area if possible.
A preliminary evaluation of the scene indicates the roadway will be closed for an estimated eight to ten hours.
Editors Note: NYSP report that the incident occurred approx. 5:30 am today and commuters are advised to expect the closure to last through the evening commute.
