Calling Aspiring Models, Entertainers & Musicians to Perform at JV Mall

CALLING ALL ASPIRING-MODELS, ENTERTAINERS AND MUSICIANS:

PERFORM DURING THE ANNUAL “HOME, LIFESTYLE AND FAMILY SHOW” AT JEFFERSON VALLEY MALL ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20 

Looking to showcase your hidden talent or musical aspirations?  Jefferson Valley Mall is seeking members of the local community to perform, entertain and model during the 2016 Home, Lifestyle and Family Show presented by Yorktown Chamber of Commerce and Jilco Window Corporation.  The mall-wide event is scheduled for Saturday, February 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Jefferson Valley Mall is excited to provide a venue for local talent to express their artistic gifts and abilities,” said Alexa O’Rourke, director of marketing and business development at Jefferson Valley Mall. “Plus, as the host of the 2016 Home, Lifestyle and Family Show, we look forward to supporting area businesses and organizations as they help educate, inform and inspire local homeowners.”

Jefferson Valley Mall is accepting applications from musicians and entertainers interested in performing throughout the day. Artists may include local bands, magicians, solo acts, face painters, bakeries offering samples and other family friendly entertainers.

Aspiring models between the ages of 18 and 65 years can submit a biography and recent photo for the opportunity to strut their stuff on the catwalk.  In addition to highlighting members of the local community who are committed to leading a healthy lifestyle, including nurses, personal trainers or professionals in the wellness industry, Jefferson Valley Mall hopes that the fashion presentation will honor models who have overcome health battles such as cancer, heart disease, obesity and limb-loss. The Home, Lifestyle and Family Show, will provide guests with the chance to network with like-minded homeowners, learn up-to-date tricks of the trade and share valuable experiences for first-time homebuyers. Participating housing industry vendors will include homebuilders, remodelers, roofers, mortgage lenders and financial planners.

Plus, in recognition of American Heart Month, the American Heart Association will offer health seminars and screenings, as well as demonstrations presented by local fitness studios, gyms and holistic centers.
