ADCO Trading Inc., a maker of candles which is based in Missouri City, Texas, announced a recall on Sure Scents 2-1 Peaceful Stream/Moonlit Waves candles on Wednesday, Dec. 2.
More than 142,000 candles exclusively sold at Dollar Tree stores are being recalled for a potential fire and burn hazard.
According to a United States Consumer Product Safety Commission report report, the candles' flames could ignite the surface of the wax or cause the glass to break.
As of this time, No injuries have been reported.
Consumers can contact Dollar Tree at 800-876-8697 for a full refund.
Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding COVID-19, some of the remedies identified in recall press releases may not be available at this time. Consumers should check with recalling firms for further details.
