The American Rescue Plan Act is Congress’s most sweeping COVID-19 response to date and will provide an estimated $170.3 billion in funding for education, including nearly $14 billion to New York’s childcare, Head Start, K-12, and higher education programs. School districts in New York’s 18^th Congressional district will receive over $200 million alone.
