
The Brewster Theater Company is excited to present a 2022 season of suspense, laughter and spectacle at The Theater at Drew Methodist Church, 28 Gleneida Avenue in Carmel.
Columbo, the iconic TV detective series of the 1960s and 70s, was originated as the play, Prescription: Murder. This cat and mouse production, written by William Link and Richard L. Levinson, opens BTC's 2022 season. Prescription: Murder is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals representing Samuel French, Inc. It is directed by Bob Dumont of Patterson.
Dr. Flemming (Brewster’s Brian Dallas Field) and his actress mistress (Kate Rado of Katonah) plot to kill the doctor’s wife (Dawn O’Creene of Patterson.) Enter Lt. Columbo (Scarsdale’s Humza Mian) who is on the case! Prescription: Murder also features Carolyn McCarthy of Brewster, and Chris Gillespie of Carmel, and is stage managed by Jean Mazzilli of Carmel, and produced by Stacy Dumont of Patterson.
Limited seating performances are Fridays and Saturdays, February 25, 26, March 4, 5, 11, 12 at 7:30; and Sunday, March 13 at 2pm. Tickets are $22.50. Purchase online at brewstertheater.org or at the door. Check website and social media in case of inclement weather.
