Artists, leave your studios behind and bring your cameras, pencils, paints, canvases, and easels to set up for a Plein Air Event at the Patterson Library Park on Thursday, August 17 from 10:00 Am to 1:00 PM. The Great Swamp, the gazebo and gardens, and distant vistas are just a few exciting subjects that will inspire your work.
The Patterson Library is partnering with the Friends of the Great Swamp to invite artists in all mediums to participate in this Plein Air Event. Works created at this event are eligible to be considered for the FrOGS juried show at the Annual Fall Celebration in October.
In an effort to bring the arts to our community, the public is invited to visit the park to view the artists and their projects as they are being created.
