Hudson Valley Victory Cup Farm Bash Polo Match on July 16

The Victory Cup Polo Match is returning to the Hudson Valley, New York this summer to present: “The Victory Cup Farm Bash ­­The Best Party of the Summer®” The event, which is expecting hundreds of attendees, will be hosted on Saturday, July 16, 2016 starting at 11AM for VIP’s and 1PM for General Admission at Kirby Hill Farm: 664 Old Quaker Hill Road, Pawling, NY 12564.

In the great polo tradition, Victory Cup attendees are encouraged to get dressed in their finest summer afternoon attire to take in the majesty of the horses, the sights of beautifully dressed people, and the thrill of heart pounding polo! A true entertainment experience, The Victory Cup has not only lined up exciting rival polo matches, but polo­goers will enjoy field side tailgating, a birds of prey show, food trucks, a classic car show, the pet parade and a children’s playground for families.

Additionally, a VIP tent will offer guests a more refined experience while they mix and mingle with premier event sponsors and partners. Local farm to table foods and local wines, spirits and beer from the greater Hudson Valley area will be the special fare available to VIP ticket holders.

While the event is a private, for­profit event, The Victory Cup partners with local charities, affording them the opportunity to receive 70% of all ticket sales! This year, Green Chimneys has been selected as the “charity of choice,” which means all tickets sold using promotional code "GreenChimneys" will support the organization’s therapeutic programs for children with special needs, and the animals that help them. Additionally, Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue will be returning for a second year, offering pony rides at The Victory Cup. Lucky Orphans provides sanctuary to 50 horses as well as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Services. Following the polo matches, Victory Cup Farm to Table pass holders roll into an exclusive Farm to Table Dinner prepared by Chef Rich Parente of Clock Tower Grill of Southeast, New York on the polo field with the polo players themselves! As a special treat, Chopped Champion Chef Dafna Mizrahi will be on hand to helppreparetheVIPdinneroffering. ChefDafnaisaCulinaryInstituteofAmericatrainedcelebritychef who additionally is the winner of the Weber Grills and Harley­Davidson Big Burger Battle and several other national awards. At age 24, Mizrahi is already the Executive Chef/Co­Owner of Monte’s Local Kitchen and Tap Room in Amenia, New York.

Now in its eleventh year, The Victory Cup is being presented by BlackStoneTexas.com, an Austin based technology and marketing company. Black Stone’s CEO, Greg Ball, founded an annual polo match in Washington, D.C. and upon returning home to New York founded The Victory Cup. The event was held as an annual political fundraiser that Greg Ball held during his time in office (as an Assemblyman and New York State Senator). Now that Greg has returned to the private sector, The Victory Cup lives on as a private, for­profit event and ‘The Best Party of the Summer®’.

Green Chimneys is a multi­faceted nonprofit organization helping young people to maximize their full potential by providing residential, educational, clinical and recreational services in a safe and supportive environment that nurtures connections with their families, the community, animals and nature. Recognized as a worldwide leader in animal­assisted therapy and educational activities for children with special needs, Green Chimneys services include an accredited special education school on two campuses, residential treatment center, animal­assisted and nature­based therapies, public education and recreation programs, and community­based support for youth and families.

Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue is a non profit horse sanctuary, home to 50 residents. Lucky Orphans provides education through equine welfare, riding lessons, and promoting volunteerism. The organization is accredited through the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance as well as the Global Federation of Accredited Sanctuaries. Lucky Orphans offers riding opportunities for children and adults through a Certified Horsemanship Association certified staff. EAGALA model services are also conducted through a certified mental health team. Our horses help people struggling with anxiety and depression, as well as trauma due to PTSD or abuse and other mental, emotional struggles.
