Taps N Toes Busy Summer!!

Miss Anne and her dancers kicked off their summer by seeing the New York Spectacular at Radio City with The Rockettes. The dancers were able to take a master class with a Rockette  which allowed the Taps N Toes dancers to work on their precision and kick line.

On July 13th Miss. Anne and several  students took a two hour long Cirque Du Soleil class in New York City. The class reviewed the strenuous techniques which is required of all the Cirque Du Soleil performers. The taps n toes dancers also got to experience the many apparatuses that are use in the shows stunt work.  The students learned a great deal and had fun while doing it.

Last week more then 18 students participated in a week long intensive camp, which included 15 different styles of dance. These styles of dance included Hip hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Street Jazz, Step, Cheer Dance, Samba, Ballet and Tap.

We finished out the month by debuting our performance group, at the Putnam County 4h fair.
