Blasting to Take Place at 1617 Route 22 in Brewster

MD Drilling & Blasting, Inc. will be conducting a rock drilling and blasting operation at 1617 Route 22 Brewster, NY for a new Dunkin Donuts/gas station. This is the former Mobile Gas station across from Kelly's Corner at the intersection of Route 312 and Route 22.

The project will begin this week and continue on and off for approximately 30 days. The days they do blast will they will blast 1 to 3 times a day.

According to the letter published by the Town of Southeast, "The site will be well marked with highly visible signs that detail the whistle warning sequence that will be sounded prior to commencement of each blast. All blasting operations will be conducted during daylight hours and no explosives will be stored at the construction site overnight."
