Art class for kids and teens
Children will learn about Norse myths and legends.
Using clay, paint, glue, papier-mache, and fabric, they will design mythical creatures such as trolls and dragons. Children will also explore traditional Norse crafts such as rosemaling and woven paper baskets.
Children will be encouraged to develop their own creative interpretations and ideas, to have fun and to be creative.
Class will not meet 1/21 and 2/18.

About the Instructor
Mary Schreiber holds an M.S. from Bank Street College of Education. At Arts on the Lake she has led classes in collage, mask-making, painting, and sculpture. As an artist, she makes sculpture and marionettes.
