Green Chimneys shared the following regarding an interview with one of their students on NBC Nightly News:
"My whole life has changed to a good thing. There is a life for me. There is a life for all of us ... animals, human beings, all of us," explained 13-year-old Diego, a Green Chimneys School student who was the subject of a recent NBC Nightly News interview with correspondent Anne Thompson. Diego is an example of how students with special needs are learning and growing here. With help from a wide range of staff expertise and the connections fostered with the natural world, students are gaining essential coping skills.
