Dance Dads Raise $55K for Camp No Limits

A group of dancing dads from Seven Star School of Performing Arts took to the stage to share their talents for charity. This year, 24 dads participated in the annual Kids for Kids Dancing For Life Dance Competition in North Haven, CT on April 22. Kids for Kids is an organization that raises funds for children in medical or financial need and does so by hosting a competition each year in New Jersey and Connecticut.  In order to commemorate the competitions 25th anniversary this year, dance dads from Seven Star School, along with 3 other studios from Connecticut came together in order to raise money for Camp No Limits.  Camp No Limits provides camps for children with loss limbs and their families and host an event at Quinnipiac University each summer.  Collectively, the dance dads raised an outstanding $55,000 from various fundraising events, online campaigns and donations.  A check was presented on stage to the founder of Camp No Limits and families that have attended in the past.  The funds raised will help send 150 campers to Quinnipiac this summer. To top off the valiant fundraising efforts of the Seven Star dance dads, they outperformed their competition and took home the first Dance Dads Cup as champions!
