Various businesses have a Toys for Tots box where they collect donations for local children. The Sheriff’s Department, (led by Deputy A.J. Piizzutto) picks up the toys and deliver them directly to local organizations that then distribute them to local children in need. There are many drop-off locations, and if you frequent a business that has a donation box, please consider purchasing a toy to drop-off on your next visit. Toys for Tots is asking that all toys be donated by December 13th, so that they arrive in time for Christmas.
The local community depends upon this program, run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. It’s our Veterans continuing to give even more to our communities.
You can drop off toys at any official Toys for Tots location including the Putnam County Sheriff's Department at 3 County Center, Carmel, NY 10512.
