Byrne Hosts Sensory-Friendly Movie Screening for Families with Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Assemblyman Kevin Byrne (R,C,Ref-Mahopac) is pleased to be hosting a free sensory-friendly screening of “Secret Life of Pets 2” on Saturday,June 8 at 10 a.m. at Carmel Cinema 8 in partnership with the local initiative to ThinkDifferently. This is a red carpet themed event, specifically catering to the needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Sensory-friendly amenities include the lowering of the movie’s sound, house lights on at half capacity and a judgment-free space.
