Einstein’s Mozart: Original poetry by Kate Light and chamber music by W. A. Mozart, was written to commemorate the close convergence of the centenary of Einstein's “Miracle Year” (1905-2005) and Mozart's 250th birthday (1756-2006). Kate Light was a librettist, lyricist and poet in New York City. An alumna of the Eastman School of Music, Hunter College, and the BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, and she also was a professional violinist and a member of the orchestra of the New York City Opera.
