Sharing SPACE invites the surrounding community to Ryder Farm for a weekend of performances from neighboring Putnam County arts organizations. Join us Saturday evening for music under the stars with Concerts Around the Corner and special guests, and on Sunday afternoon for a family-friendly performance from the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival.
CONCERTS AROUND THE CORNER
Join us on the Ryder Farm Bowling Green for an evening of contemporary and classical music. Featuring Robert Zubrycki, violin, and his colleagues from the New York City Chamber Orchestra, American Symphony and Broadway Orchestras, including: Keve Wilson, oboe; Rachel Handman, violin; Hidayat Honari, Guitar; Marc Schmied, Bass; Adria Benjamin, viola and Katharine Cherbas, cello.
The grounds open at 6:30pm. Come early for a farm tour, and picnic baskets are welcome. In the event of rain, performances will be relocated to one of Ryder Farm’s historic buildings.
Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $15 for adults, and $10 for children under 12. Tickets can be purchased online until noon on the day of the event, or by cash or check at the door!
About Sharing SPACE
Now in its 6th year, Sharing SPACE is a performance series hosted by SPACE on Ryder Farm that invites the community to historic Ryder Farm for performances from neighboring Putnam County arts organizations.
Sharing SPACE is supported in part through the Putnam Arts Council’s Arts Link Grant Program, with public funds provided through the New York State Council on the Arts with support from Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature.
