Young Colonials Fife and Drum Corps 34th Annual Muster This Saturday in Patterson

The Young Colonial Fife and Drum Corps will be hosting our 32nd Annual Colonial Music Festival (muster) at the Patterson Fire Department this Saturday, August 17th, at noon. Enjoy music performed by fife and drum corps from around the region, and food and goods from local vendors.

The Young Colonials formed in Lake Carmel in 1973, and have been introducing young people ages 8-18 to America's history through music. Members learn how to march and eventually play the fife, a small wooden flute-like instrument with 6 holes, or rudimental snare or bass drums. The corps is instructed by award-winning professional musicians including past members of the West Point Hellcats. We march in about 30 community and fireman parades, competitions, and musters throughout the year.

Please join us for an afternoon of great music and fun!
