HOLIDAY TIPS FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH AND WITHOUT SPECIAL NEEDS
The holidays can be a wonderful time of year but can also be a bit hectic and chaotic. Routines change and energy levels increase which can have an impact on a child. The PPS Team will discuss strategies for making the season and winter break easier and more enjoyable overall.
Discussion topics include: - Behavior management with unstructured time - Helping prevent sensory overload - Predicting what your child needs and having a plan - Assisting children to transition in and out of break
