”We are so excited to feature the fresh directorial and conceptual ideas of Jenna Isabella,” stated The Brewster Theater Company’s president, Stacy Dumont, about their first mainstage production of the season, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. The play is Brewster Theater’s first presentation of Shakespeare in many years. “I believe that our local audiences will trust the quality of our work and sit to enjoy this production with us,” assured Dumont. The show is produced by Gina Stanton, choreographed by Brandy Mae Hughes, and stage-managed by Joe Coppola.
“Much Ado About Nothing has always been a favorite of mine; I think it’s one of his most accessible works and translates to nearly any setting.... cue the jazzy music, and a gorgeous Art Deco set. It overflows into the audience, with cafe-style seating and mocktails to sip while lounging in the ‘Hotel Messina’s’ swanky lobby,” beams director, Isabella. “We are so excited to be bringing Shakespeare to life in Carmel and truly celebrating with our community!”
