BAMM presents: Ellen Woloshin, jazz vocalist

BAMM 2020 at Mahopac Public Library
presents
Ellen Woloshin, jazz vocalist
Sunday, March 15
2:00 pm

Registration is requested.  Register online at www.mahopaclibrary.org, or call 845-628-2009, ext 100.

With a vocal sound that is unmistakably distinct, and a collection of original songs that are personal yet still universal, Ellen Woloshin crosses over pop/folk genres while revisiting standards from the 1930’s and 40’s.  Ellen will be performing songs from her first CD, “Tried and True”, and will be accompanied by pianist Rick Jensen, an accomplished performed and songwriter. To hear more of Ellen’s music, visit http://www.ellenwoloshin.com/.

This jazz concert, part of the 2020 BAMM Concert Series, is funded by Tompkins Mahopac Bank, PCSB Bank, and the Sylvia B. Henschel Fund, a bequest to Mahopac Public Library.  Additional funding is provided, in part, by the Putnam Arts Council’s Arts Link Grant program with public funds from Putnam County.  Public and local business support enables the Library to present the BAMM concerts with no admission charge.  Instead, concert attendees are invited to participate in the BAMM Lends a Hand Project by bringing non-perishable food items to donate to a local food pantry to help our community members in need.
