Postponed: Brewster High School Presents Big Fish

Editor's note: The production has been postponed to May 29th 7pm and May 30th 2pm  & 7pm. Follow Brewster HamletHub for updated information.

Brewster High School is excited to announce this year’s Spring Musical, “Big Fish” by Andrew Lippa and John August.

Brewster High School’s production of Big Fish is almost here! This wonderful musical is an adaptation of the 2003 Tim Burton movie and the 1998 Daniel Wallace book.

Cast member Jennifer DeSantis says, “My favorite thing about being in Big Fish is the fact that we are all talking about topics so much bigger than all of us high school students. Cancer, affairs, strained relationships, and death are taboo topics, but here we are helping create art and a story with them. It is an honor to be part of such a different show.”

The cast features RJ Frankenberry, James Hartigan, Charlie Fitzpatrick, Dylan Whitman, Brooke Ryan, Tahj Arnold, Andrew DiFabbio, Isabela Izaguirre, Kayla Smith, Eddy Monges, Jennifer DeSantis, Ben Pollack, Bella DiDio, MaryAnn Droesch, Mattie Fitzpatrick, Liam Payne, Franceska Drejaj, Maeve Healy, Brooke Ryan, Tyler Colon, Katie Howell, Katie Salisbury, Chelsea Roque, Ariana Lopez, Ariana Lopez, Hailley Vieira, Ryland Rodriguez, Jennifer Lozo-Morocho, Pablo Crisostomo, Carol Mejia, Shayla Franklin, Ava Ross, Sydney Burns, Evan Pellot, Autumn Takacs, Lexi Gagliardo, Elizabeth Bodansky, Victor Farias, and Alexandra Schajer.

Students are excited to perform this production. Cast member Jimmy Hartigan says, “Being able to work with such an amazing group of people to put on such a heartfelt show was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had. Everyone plays their roles so well and it’s amazing seeing the show come together.”

Returning to the director’s chair is Nikki Siriani, who previously directed Brewster High School’s production of Mamma Mia.

“Big Fish” has been postponed to May 29th 7pm and May 30th 2pm  & 7pm (subject to change). Tickets are $15 online and $18 at the door. Ticket information can be found on the Brewster Schools website. www.brewsterschools.org.
