Memorial Day Convoy Planned by Putnam County Veteran's Service Agency

The Putnam County Veterans Service Agency, with the support of County Executive MaryEllen Odell and Sheriff Langley, has organized a Memorial Day Convoy. The convoy will be traveling through each town and village in Putnam County using the town halls as waypoints.

Accompanied by a police escort, military vehicles, fire vehicles, local Veterans flying flags, music and safely practicing social distancing, the PC VSA encourage people to come out along the route to celebrate the memory of those who died in active military service.

Please bring your flags and honor all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

The convoy will launch from the Donald B. Smith Campus in Carmel at 1:00PM sharp on Monday May 25th. Please see the link below for details of the exact route of the convoy and timeframe that the convoy will be passing through your town.

If you or your town are interested in having any vehicles participate in the convoy please contact Karl Rohde or Arthur Hanley at the Putnam County Veterans Service Agency so we can keep an accurate count on the vehicles that will be participating in the Memorial Day Convoy. Please feel free to reach out to the Putnam County Veteran's Service Agency with any other questions or concerns as well.

Contact information can be found on the Putnam County Website.
