Private Zoom Reading of the Hilarious and Slightly Twisted Play, Love/Sick

The Cultural Arts Coalition is proud to present our 2nd in a series of online Theatrical Performances. We know how desperately our community misses the arts so please join us for a private ZOOM ROOM reading of the play “Love Sick” by John Cariani. This event is FREE but has a limited capacity for viewers so please reserve your spots right away.

Directed by Pia Haas, this Reading will include the magical talents of community couples; Matt & Jess Vanacoro, Stephanie Schleicher & Daniel Basiletti, Christine & Keith DiBuono, Brandi Gestri & Lou Simmons as well as several others.

A darker cousin to the play Almost, Maine, John Cariani’s LOVE/SICK is a collection of nine slightly twisted and completely hilarious short plays. Set on a Friday night in an alternate suburban reality, this 80-minute romp explores the pain and the joy that comes with being in love. Full of imperfect lovers and dreamers, LOVE/SICK is an unromantic comedy for the romantic in everyone.

Don’t miss this...

“Whimsical romantic comedy. In the nine vignettes that make up [the] play, couples meet [or] break apart or learn to love each other more…the jokes here are easygoing and snark-free.” —The New York Times.
