Adelphi to Present Virtual Reading of 'A Christmas Carol' - December 12

In the spirit of the holiday season, Adelphi University's Department of Theatre will present a live, virtual reading of Charles Dickens' classic novella "A Christmas Carol" on Saturday, December 12, at 11 a.m.

Since 1843, the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge has touched the heart of readers and audiences around the world. Every holiday season, Adelphi's Department of Theatre brings the Victorian classic to the stage as it would have been performed in a radio studio in the 1930s as a dramatic reading. The reading will be dramatized by Barbara Field and directed by Brian Rose, a theater professor at Adelphi.

This event is free, but registration is required for online access.

For those who miss the 11 a.m. reading, the show will be rebroadcast on Adelphi's Department of Theatre and Performing Art Center's Facebook pages on December 12 at 2 p.m.
