Putnam Chorale to host two concerts in Dutchess County

The Putnam Chorale will perform a series of outdoor lawn concerts in Dutchess county in June and July. After rehearsing on Zoom throughout the pandemic, the Chorale is ready to sing to a live audience with a new program.  The concerts, titled "America Through Song", feature songs that represent significant eras in the history and heritage of America.

The audience will hear the Chorale sing classics such as Amazing Grace, Over There!, Home on the Range, and crowd favorites like Take Me Out to the Ball Game and The Star Spangled Banner. For active or retired military personnel in attendance, the Chorale will perform a stirring military medley and patriotic hymns. Two concerts will be held in Dutchess County:
  • Saturday, June 26th at 1:00 pm at Stony Kill Farm, 79 Farmstead Ave, Wappingers Falls, NY (near the Manor House on the North side of the property) and
  • Friday, July 23rd at 6:30 pm at the Bowdoin Park bandshell, 85 Sheafe Road, Wappingers Falls, NY
