Tickets are now on sale for Brewster High School’s MARY POPPINS

One of the most popular Disney movies of all time is capturing hearts in a whole new way: as a practically perfect and high-flying musical! Set in 1910 England and based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins delighted Broadway audiences for over 2,500 performances and now it will be performed on the Brewster High School stage.

Mary Poppins is the practically perfect nanny who helps us learn to take our medicine with a spoonful of sugar, find the silver lining in every situation, and realize that sometimes we should just use the winds of change to go fly a kite. Mary brings order to the Banks household, takes Jane and Michael out on magical adventures, and dispenses sage advice such as, "anything can happen if you let it." Mary Poppins is full of fantasy and magic, and yes, there will be flying!

The score features everyone’s favorite Poppins tunes including "A Spoonful of Sugar," "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," "Jolly Holiday," "Let's Go Fly a Kite," "Step in Time," and "Chim-Chim-er-ee."

The cast features Megan Campbell as Mary Poppins, RJ Frankenberry as Bert, Aaron Lurin as George Banks, Erin Vaughan as Winifred Banks, and Taylor Byrne as the evil nanny Miss Andrew. The Banks children are played by Wells middle school student Brooke Ryan (Jane Banks) and CV Starr intermediate school student Nico Corrado (Michael Banks).

Rounding out the rest of the talented cast are Sarah Borsari, Grace Curley, Andrew DiFabbio, Tommy Froessel, Ryan Hecht, Josh Hopkins, Katie Howell, Mili Gonzalez, Cecilia Guida, Max Likens, Michael Malanga, Julian Nova, Caitlin Otto, Martina Rossi, Annie Sullivan, Jean Basiletti, Jackie Bechara, Rhiana Brennan, Alexa Byrnes, Ellie Cassidy, Skye Connolly, Cati Conway, Bridget Courtney, John Delgado, Jennifer DeSantis, MaryAnn Droesch, Olivia Fedio, Charlie Fitzpatrick, Mattie Fitzpatrick, Timmy Froessel, Carly Guida, Jimmy Hartigan, Angela Hupp, Izzy Izaguirre, Karen Kimble, Erin Kirkpatrick, Joseph Likens, Maddie Majette, Layla Pagan, Liam Payne, Erin Renzi, Matthew Rivera, Nicole Rivera, Talia Rubeo, Michael Seaman, Grace Stathatos, Emily Sullivan, Autumn Takacs, Julie Tramontana, Kendra Volpe and Kaitlin Wooley.
