ABA Auctions Features Amazing Artwork at Patterson June 1 & 2

In June, ABA Auctions will be holding a divorce liquidation auction on June 1 & 2 at Patterson Recreation. ABA loves Patterson. From when they were invited for a single event years ago, the community rallied and requested they return. The community made them feel welcome and appreciated. “It’s helpful to have a ‘home’ in Putnam County that gives us access to our clients in Dutchess and Northern Fairfield County, with whom we don’t get many opportunities to visit,” states ABA.

Buying at auction is an experience as much as an opportunity. When you arrive at the auction site on Saturday or Sunday, an ABA team member will be on hand to greet you and give you a quick tour of the auction room(s). You will be shown where to register for the auction and directed to preview the area to see the lots we have available for auctioning.

There are A LOT of auction lots to view and inspect. ABA does not often specify the condition of everything that is sold during the auction. Take advantage of the auction preview period to personally inspect and research any items that catch your interest.

Rugs have details attached and furniture usually has a spec sheet available. If you have any questions about a particular item, just ask. We’re around and more than happy to answer any of your questions. Or you can ask another attendee…some of our clients have been coming to our auctions for years and they can often answer any questions about the process. And you might make a new friend! This is a social event as much as a sale.

Artwork often has certificates affixed to the back. This auction has a variety of Framed Oil Paintings, Watercolors, Pastels, and Lithographs by noted artists Dali, Picasso, Erte, Olbinski, Chagall, Webster, Dubuffet, Bergner, Chen, Tarkay, Miro, Warhol, Rockwell, and dozens more. Local emerging artists are also represented, including Chillington and Bryden. Bronze sculptures and installation pieces available.
