Guacamania September 20 at Brewster Library

Guacamole is over 500 years old, probably originating in the Aztec empire, but it was so delicious, nutritious and simple to prepare that it spread to much of Central America, soon becoming an international cuisine. the Brewster Public Library has several local patrons that will lead people through the steps of preparing guacamole in several different traditional ways, drawing on their families' recipes to instruct us. Chips will be available to taste test the creations. Visit www.brewsterlibrary.org  to register or call 845-279-6421.
