The Brewster Music Festival is a fundraiser coordinated by the Cultural Arts Coalition to aid in their efforts towards restoring the Old Town Hall Theater on Main Street in Brewster, NY. 3rd Annual Brewster Music Festival will kick off the summer festival scene on June 8, 2019! Robert Scott of the award winning Outlaw BBQ will be one of the many food vendors providing a wide variety of edible options. Bring chairs, blankets and umbrellas to relax on the Great Lawn of Wells Park opening at 11AM.

Are you ready to rock into the summer of 2019? The 3rd­ Annual Brewster Music Festival is set to start off the summer festival scene on June 8, 2019 from 12-7PM at Wells Park at 98 Oak Street in Brewster, NY. The rain date is June 9, 2019. Admission is FREE. Bring chairs and blankets to secure your spot on the beautiful “great lawn” in Wells Park that will open at 11AM.
 
The 3rd Annual Brewster Music Festival is an afternoon filled with hot music including rock, soul, funk and blues from some of the finest local musicians. Put that together with local food vendors, beer, wine, games, and family fun and you have the perfect way to kick off the summer!
 
This event is a fundraiser coordinated by the Cultural Arts Coalition to aid in their efforts towards restoring the Old Town Hall Theater on Main Street. Sponsors of the event include Century 21 V.J.F. Realty Co;, Patterson Rotary Club; Master It Media LLC, Confident Home Inc.; The Music Cottage; Apple Moms HV; Jacque’s Giant Music Show; The Law Office of Andres D. Gil, PLLC; EA Test Prep; and Brewster HamletHub. In addition, Putnam County Tourism, Putnam County, and the Village of Brewster are providing their assistance for the event. Cultural Arts Coalition board members and co-producers of the event are Paul Toscano President of the Hudson Valley Blues Society; Margaret Carey of HamletHub & Master It Media; and Judy Marano, Owner of EA Test Prep and President of the Cultural Arts Coalition.
 
“Last year’s music had patrons dancing on the lawn and singing along to some fantastic bands” explains Judy Marano, Cultural Arts Coalition President, “We are partnering with local businesses and organizations to provide even more activities while offering a free concert that is open to anyone. Our plan is to provide amazing events year round when the Old Town Hall Theater restoration is complete.”
 
“You’ll be able to #GetTheFunkOut with non-stop music,” exclaims co-producer, Paul Toscano. Bands include Riiza, Blue Alien Mystic, Special Sauce, Fishkill George & TFM, and The Libertine Project with sound provided by K Bays Sound Concepts. Between sets, solo artists Brian Dallas Field, Brian Larney, David Powers, Greg Jacquin and David Kraii will provide acoustic music.

Beer, wine and cider will be available for purchase. Wells Park rules state that no outside alcohol, glass or dogs (with the exception of service animals) are allowed in the park. Crafters, artists, artisans, local businesses and organizations will enrich your experience by offering items for purchase and information on local services. In addition, attendees are encouraged to participate in the Cultural Arts Coalition 50/50 Raffle, which will benefit the restoration of the Old Town Hall Theater.

“Last year’s Brewster Music Festival had over 1,000 attendees from as far as southern New Jersey,” explains co-producer and public relations director, Margaret Carey, “Come early because we anticipate a much bigger crowd this year due to the popularity of the event, the increase in the number of performers, and the longer length of the event.” Free parking is available at the Tri-State Lot at Park Street and Morningthorpe Ave. Take the train to the Brewster Train Station. Putnam County will provide free trolley shuttle service at both of these locations to Wells Park.
