August Art Exhibit Opening at Studio Around The Corner

FRAGMENTED PORTRAITS by Brianna Vanacoro opens tonight at the Studio Around The Corner located at 67 Main Street in Brewster. The Exhibit then continues through the month of August on Saturday afternoons from noon until 2 pm.

Geometric style paintings in acrylic and oil

Brianna Vanacoro is a New York based artist who has been commissioning and selling her art for several years. Most of her earliest childhood memories revolve around her passion for art. Her most commonly used mediums tend to be oil and acrylic paint, colored pencils and pastel. Although, she does like to experiment with various other mediums. Brianna was exposed to traditional forms of painting but her focus is veered towards geometric and fragmented portraits. She received her bachelors degree in fine art in 2015 with an "Excellence in Painting" honor awarded by Long Island University. Brianna has showcased her work in exhibitions around the country from New York City to Wichita, Kansas. Fragmented Portraits features Brianna’s signature geometric style. She’s incorporating a variety of portraits that range from Amy Winehouse to various jungle animals. For this show, Brianna is painting her biggest geometric painting to date (5 feet by 3 feet) ! Hope to see you there.
