The district released the following letter earlier today regarding the available(s) service for any student.

September 3, 2019

Dear Brewster Family,

The Brewster Staff gathered today in preparation for our students’ arrival tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4th.  District and Building-level Crisis Teams have met in order to plan for the specific needs of our students and to be prepared for any concerns that may arise.

Please allow us to share some of the additional supports that we have in place for our students on Wednesday, September 4th:

  • Brewster High School: Internal supports, including Wells Middle School staff members, will be on hand in the Guidance Office.  Members of the Regional Crisis Team, sponsored by Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES will also be here to support our students.
  • Wells Middle School: Middle school staff and members of the Regional Crisis Team will be present in the Library Conference Room to support students and staff in need.
  • C.V. Starr: Our C.V. Starr support staff are available on an as needed basis.

Again, if you have a student in Wells Middle School, please know that a delayed response to any parent or student request for typical scheduling questions/concerns is possible, as we will be working to support our students transitioning to Brewster High School.

We thank you for your continued support of all of our efforts! Together we can make a difference!

Sincerely,

Laurie Bandlow, Ed.D.
