Brewster Schools First Responders and Healthcare Workers Childcare needs survey

Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order 202.4, school districts in NYS are required to coordinate plans for the care of children of essential healthcare workers and emergency responders.

Essential healthcare workers include licensed health professionals such as physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, LPNs, nurse assistants, and laboratory personnel.

Emergency responders include paramedics, emergency medical technicians, firefighters, police officers, and other public safety personnel.

Parents/Guardians with children age 4 and under: please visit the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) website, which allows you to search for approved childcare providers within the Brewster Central School District catchment.
Parents/Guardians with children ages 5 - 12: please complete this survey to assist us in gathering information to identify the need and ability to coordinate childcare plans. If you are not an essential healthcare worker or emergency responder as defined above, please do not respond to the survey.

There is limited information available at this time, but we will continue to update you regarding the Governor’s Executive Order 202.4 as it becomes available. We continue to wish you and your family good health during this difficult time.
