On January 10, 2022, the New York State Police arrested William E. Mancusi, age 45, of Carmel, NY, for three counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, and three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the an 3rd degree, all class B felonies.
Following a non-fatal overdose in the Town of Southeast last month, an investigation by the New York State Police led investigators to believe that Mancusi was selling heroin in the Carmel area.
Mancusi was arraigned before the town of Carmel Court and remanded to the Putnam County Jail without bail. He is scheduled to reappear in court on January 24, 2022, at 5:30 p.m.
