Brewster Marching Band Performs at NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Brewster High School Marching Band continued their yearly tradition of Marching in the 257th NYC ST. Patrick's Day on Saturday. Waiting to step off on East 45th street, our band members made quick friends with neighboring band Gibson County High School Band from Tennessee, who were not quite ready for the NYC March weather.

After 3 band rehearsals in 30 degree weather, the BHS Marching Band gladly stepped onto 5th Avenue enjoying a sunny 48 degrees. With almost 2 million spectators, the NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade is always an exciting and rewarding experience for musicians and their directors.

2018 marks the 10th year the Brewster High School Marching Band has had the honor of participated in the New York City St. Patrick’s Parade which is the oldest and largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the world.
