First Day of Spring to Bring SNOW to Putnam County

Say it isn't SNOW...

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Putnam County late Tuesday night, March 20 (the first official day of spring) through late Wednesday night, March 21.

Heavy wet snow is possible with total accumulation 5-9 inches. Locally, more than 9 inches are possible.

Plan for difficult travel conditions, especially during the evening commute on Wednesday with possible reductions in visibility.

According to the National Weather Service, a Winter Storm Watch means that there is potential for significant snow, sleet, or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
