On the Children's Shelf: Books about Books

Last weekend (and the one prior) was the Friends for Ridgefield Library book sale...also known as the day we pile up books all over the house. I'm supporting the library. That's my justification for the many, many, many books I bring home.

This year, I found a book that is blowing up my "TBR" list..."The Ultimate Teen Book Guide" edited by Daniel Hahn and Leonie Flynn. It has 700 teen book suggestions. Yes, 700 books are recommended inside the pages of this book. Even if I don't like 10 percent that still leaves me with more than 600 book recommendations. I'm already flipping through, finding new titles, seeing recommendations of books I was curious about, and now I want to read everything.

I love books that recommend books. So I highly recommend this one. Soon my pages will be tagged with post it notes so I can remember all the books I want to read.

If you are looking for some great book recommendations, the pages of these books are filled with them. Check them all out.
