BHS Foreign Language Teacher Retires

Felicia Migliaccio, a Brewster High School foreign language teacher, is retiring this year after teaching at BHS for 33 years. Better known as “Mrs. Mig” to her students, Felicia Migliaccio worked in the Bronx at private and Catholic schools before coming to BHS as an Italian and Spanish teacher. Her plans for retirement include going on her first cruise and vacationing in Europe.

“My favorite part about BHS is working and meeting with the students. The students are the best part of my job,” says Migliaccio

She is beloved by her students and will be missed in the foreign language department. “She is truly a great teacher and I feel like I learned so much from her, not just Italian, but life lessons. I’m sad to see her go but I wish her the best in the future,” says former Italian student, Grace Stathatos. Migliaccio is one of four BHS teachers retiring this year.

Special thanks to Felicia Migliaccio and the BHS yearbook club
