Carmel native joins HQMP Division of Primary Care

Dr. Christina Mezzone, a pediatrician, has joined Health Quest Medical Practice in its Division of Primary Care and will work in both the Fishkill and Carmel offices.

A 2003 Carmel High School graduate in the top 10 of her class, Mezzone returns to the area after fulfilling her dream of becoming a pediatrician.

“There is truly no place like home,” Mezzone said. “I am excited to return to the Hudson Valley to help care for children in the area. I look forward to educating patients and their families to help them lead healthier lifestyles.”

Prior to joining Health Quest Medical Practice, Mezzone completed her residency at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, NY, where she additionally held the position of chief resident.

She received her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as a master’s in neuromuscular medicine from there. Mezzone holds a bachelor’s in biomedical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass.

Mezzone splits her time between Stormville and Manhattan as her husband completes his ophthalmology fellowship. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, running and traveling.
