Dr. Wayne Forman displays "Visions of Africa" at the Kent Library in September

"Visions of Africa", a collection of photographs by Dr. Wayne Forman, will be on display at the Kent Public Library throughout the month of September.

Wayne Forman has been an optometrist for 37 years and currently practices at Putnam Hospital. He continues to find the work very rewarding. Originally from Brooklyn, he attended Binghamton University where he studied biology and environmental science. He then went to optometry school in Chicago. He and his family have enjoyed living in Putnam County for over 30 years.

Last summer, he fulfilled a lifelong desire to visit Africa and go on safari. He took over one thousand photographs and videos. The photographs on display are a small select sample.
