Dear Brewster Community,
The wake for Oscar Gonzalez will take place today from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home in Mt. Kisco at 262 East Main Street.
To continue to assist our students, grief counseling will be available on Saturday, September 8 from 9:00am-1:00pm and Sunday, September 9 from 9:00am-1:00pm at Brewster High School in the Innovation Learning Center (ILC). Ms. Erin Alvarez and Ms. Kate Simmons will be providing counseling on Saturday and Ms. Erin Alvarez and Ms. Joanna Biagi will be providing counseling on Sunday.
In addition, on Saturday, September 8 from 9:00am-1:00pm, comfort dogs Leah and Addie, that have visited us before, will be in the ILC to provide assistance to students.
If a student needs a ride to and from the high school, please call our Transportation Department at 279-4700 to make arrangements to be picked up at home.
The school District will be closed on September 10th and September 11th in observance of Rosh Hashanah. If anyone should need assistance on these two days, please call the 24 hour Putnam County Crisis Line at 845-225-1222.
