Bereavement Notice- It with heavy hearts that we report the passing of VFW Post 672 Life Member Bob Palmer. Bob passed around 1:00 AM this morning, October 18, 2018. Bob, 97 years old, was a World War II Army Veteran who served in the European Theater. He was out Post Chaplain for many, many years and of course was known for making sure that every Veteran who was buried in the cemeteries in Southeast had a Flag in place each Memorial Day.
Bob’s wake will be on Sunday October 21, 2018 from 2 to 6 PM at Beecher Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church on Monday October 22 at 10 AM. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery.
Brewster VFW Post 672 and Brewster American Legion Post 71 will hold a joint ceremony at 5:00PM on Sunday. Please arrive at the funeral home by 4:45 PM. All Veterans are welcome to join us as we render our final Salute to Bob.
