Putnam Symphony is looking for musicians!

Rehearsals begin January 30th, 2019, and are Wednesdays from 7-9 pm at the Brewster High School (50 Foggintown Rd, Brewster, NY) 

The CONCERT is on Sunday, April 28, 2018 at 3 pm at the Brewster High School in the Performing Arts Center.

The PUTNAM SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA performs a broad spectrum of music utilizing
various ensembles as well as the full complement of musicians.  Performances
have included the classics of Beethoven, Mozart, Handel, and Salieri as well
as more contemporary works by such composers as Vaughn Williams and Copland.

The April 28th performance will feature music of Americana. Scheduled
repertoire for this concert includes "Variations on a Shaker Melody" by
Aaron Copeland, "Largo" from Dvorak's New World Symphony, "Simple Song" by
Leonard Bernstein, "Disney Spectacular" arranged by John Moss, "Moondust" by
Glenn Miller and Richard Rodgers, "Gershwin by George" arranged by Jerry
Brubaker, "Prairie Song" by Carl Strommen, "West Side Story" selections by
Leonard Bernstein, "Great Movie Adventures" by John Williams, and "Minnie
the Moocher" by Cab Calloway and Irving Mills.
