A Message From CoveCare in Carmel

Especially in such difficult times, CoveCare Center is here for you. We are committed to our clients’ and our community’s health, wellness and recovery journey now more than ever. I wanted to update you on the actions we are taking to keep all of us – clients, staff, community members—as safe as possible.

We are working hard to ensure that our team is available to our clients and the community even as we are all working at the new “normal” of social distancing. For our clients, we have implemented telephone sessions to allow people to stay in the safety of their homes while still receiving the support they expect from us. We hope to add video conferencing in the days or weeks ahead as the public health scenario develops.

We are subject from state guidance for how we can operate, and up to this point New York has offered us great flexibility. We anticipate that things will continue to change as time goes by, and we will do our best to communicate with you regarding those changes.

Circumstances like what is happening in our community can elevate fear, anxiety, and depression. So, we ask that you do not treat social distancing as self-isolation. It is essential that we all take care of our emotional health and our physical health at times like this. Make sure to reach out to loved ones, friends and family in all ways possible. A quick chat and some social connection are worth so much, especially when times are difficult. I have received many simple texts in the last week that have made me smile, and those moments are great despite what we are all facing. Stay connected!
