Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley Appoints Director of Operations

Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley (RMHGHV) recently announced the promotion of their current employee, Brittany Moretti to Director of Operations. Moretti will oversee all aspects of the daily operations, programs and communications with the families staying as guests in the House. The House, just steps away from the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, provides families with children facing medical challenges an atmosphere of comfort, hope and courage, keeping them close to the care and resources they need. In May, the House celebrated ten years of keeping families together and close to the medical care their child needs.

Moretti was promoted from her previous role as Program Operations Manager, which she held since 2014 at the House. In that role, Moretti oversaw a staff of eight guest relations staff members, served as the main point of contact with hospital team members and ensured that the 12 rooms at the House were filled with the most critical families. In her new role, Moretti will continue to make sure all programs run efficiently and effectively while applying a family-centered care approach to supporting families in medical crisis. Moretti, a resident of Mamaroneck, holds a Master of Public Health degree from NY Medical College and is a former Adjunct Professor of Community Health.

According to Christina Riley, Executive Director for RMHGHV, this promotion is integral in the organization’s strategic expansion plan and vision for the future. “We look forward to expanding our services throughout the Hudson Valley so children everywhere have access to quality medical care and their families are fully supported and actively involved in their child’s treatment” said Riley. “We strive to continue to cultivate and grow our team so we can successfully serve the community and our neighbors.”
