The Hudson Valley Renegades are proud to highlight the military community, past and present, through their Veteran of the Game program. This program hosts military families at every Renegades game during the second half of the season and recognizes outstanding military organizations and individuals who actively serve or have served our country. Who is the Veteran of the Game?
A Veteran is a member (past or present) of the Armed Forces who is recognized for his or her service to our country at Dutchess Stadium. Recognitions occur at the top of the 3rd inning during every Renegades home game from July to September. Each Veteran of the Game also receives a Hudson Valley Renegades jersey!
Veterans are selected based on nominations received and availability. If selected, Veterans will be contacted by the Hudson Valley Renegades in advance of the date of their recognition.
How do I nominate a Veteran of the Game?
The Veteran of the Game program is a great way to honor the service members in your life. If you would like to nominate a Veteran, please fill out the form on their website. Be sure to include a brief description of your Veteran’s service and reason for nomination.
